BBQ Sauce
1/3 cup of fat of choice (bacon grease, butter, lard, olive oil)
Two 8oz cans of tomato sauce
1/4 cup of yellow mustard
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1-2 tablespoons of Liquid Smoke
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons of chili powder
2-3 tablespoons of brown sugar Swerve (erythritol)
Mix everything in a small saucepan and simmer at low heat. It keeps for a while in the fridge. Add a bit of water when you reheat.
